According to an official announcement, Santander, Spain’s largest bank, is planning to host a blockchain awards ceremony that is going to take place in the metaverse. Santander will hold the awards ceremony in the metaverse on July 14 for its ‘Santander X Global Challenge | Blockchain,’ inviting Brazilian startups and 10 other countries to join this initiative. On the occasion of the meeting, companies can go there to talk about Web3 and present their solutions. According to a statement released by the bank, “Solutions should focus on improving user privacy and security on blockchain networks, promoting the adoption of decentralized finance (DeFi) and tokenization, and enhancing and expanding digital interactions with users through concepts such as Web3 and the metaverse.” Exciting Prizes for the Winners With 20 finalists, three winners will be chosen from the startup category and another three from the scaleups category, with prizes of 10 thousand euros and 30 thousand euros respectively for each winner.
